For this exploration, I wanted to play with scale; what could happen when ordinary materials like colored paper, water, and oil are abstracted?
The resulting photos seen above feel almost otherworldly and alien. I used Photoshop to manipulate the color palette of each photo, to exacerbate an almost expressive quality of thesew pieces. The motion of the bubbles and the water make it so they seem to be alive, taking on a quality of existing as amoeba or bacteria.
